The Chinese University of Hong Kong Art Museum

Connecting the existing CUHK Art Museum, the new proposed Art Museum New Annex took ‘Upon Heritage Stems New Marvels” as its role and seek to convey this message to the students and the public of its mission to continue the heritage of the University, enhance their exposure to Chinese art and nurture their interests in Chinese culture. The Form of the building echoes this message, transforming itself from the existing building to the new annex and establishing a gesture of a rock sitting on the mountain hanging across the sky.

SPECIAL NOTE

  • The venue is not close to the CUHK MTR station. Participants will be required to arrange their own transportation. It is recommended to take a taxi from Fo Tan MTR Station and enter the campus through the “University Main Entrance”. Please note the designated “Visitor Parking” spaces for private car users.
  • External visitors must present their identification for registration upon entry to the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) campus. Please allow sufficient time.
