Onka @ No.1 Playing Field Road

Built in 1932, No. 1 Playing Field Road in Mong Kok is a four-storey pre-war shophouse with a verandah, incorporating a variety of Western architectural elements. Its notable features include cantilevered balconies, arched doors and windows, decorative grilles, and an elliptical pediment carved with the year "1932", showcasing the Art Deco style.

The building was restored in recent years. The vintage clothing store Onka has now leased the third floor, preserving the elegant original features of the unit—such as wooden doors, interior floor tiles, and ceiling details—while furnishing the space with thoughtfully selected pieces.
