Breakthrough Youth Village

Breakthrough Youth Village is located on A Kung Kok Shan in Sha Tin and was inaugurated in 1996. Its mission is 'A Space for Youth Diversified Development'. The building's architectural design blends geometric shapes and vibrant colours to complement activity spaces specifically crafted for a variety of youth services. Here, young people engage in creative writing, activities and art, exploring multidimensional development pathways.
The 'Siheyuan' courtyard-style camp quarters provide spaces where young people can rest and socialise. The amphitheatre offers panoramic views of Tolo Harbour and Pat Sin Leng, and the white chapel allows sunlight and the clouds to shine through.
These spaces demonstrate how architecture can be seamlessly integrated with nature. Meanwhile, features such as the colourful Amazing Maze, the Spring Tea House, and the art workshop encourage young people to engage in dialogue with themselves and with nature. As Breakthrough Youth Village approaches its 30th anniversary, it is committed to exploring new possibilities with young people!
