83 King Lam Street

Wandering among the busy industrial buildings of Lai Chi Kok, and then stepping into this corner of King Lam Street, a sudden sense of openness emerges: a series of grey blocks form a refreshingly stylish public space, where people casually sit on the steps, enjoying a moment of tranquility.

This new space, which has become a hot topic on social media, is "83 KING LAM STREET", designed by COLLECTIVE Studio with Rocco Design Architects. It is a commercial development project by New World Group, featuring a landmark twin-tower Grade A office design, with a podium base housing retail and dining facilities.

In addition to a rare-in-the-area cascading garden plaza with steps, it also features various green spaces like a podium garden and a rooftop garden, which help reduce the urban heat island effect.

Beneath the garden plaza is a multi-functional event venue, the "New World Town Hall," equipped with modern meeting and event facilities, retractable tiered seating, and more, allowing for the hosting of diverse activities as needed.
